This book was created with the intention of telling, in a simple and emotional way, the wonderful journey along the path of coral, a symbol of community, brotherhood, and acceptance of diversity, and a good-luck charm against the dangers of a vast and hostile world, that reaches us, our little boat in the middle of the sea and our family.
What we would like to see remain etched in the collective memory is the commitment we have upheld over the past fifty years to preserve a material that we hope will continue to fascinate people.

A reinterpretation of Romeo and Juliet comes to life through choreography that captures the intensity of one of the most famous love stories of all time. Created by Massa Gioconda, this project integrates our coral creations into the narrative, fostering a harmonious dialogue between dance, design, and traditional craftsmanship.

Since 1976, Massa Gioconda has carried on the Torre del Greco tradition of coral craftsmanship, transforming a family legacy into a business renowned on international markets. The video depicts the company’s journey, from its origins linked to the sea and the fishing trade of its founder Marino Marotta, to its expansion across Europe, the United States, and Asia, where its coral, cameos and turquoise are synonymous of elegance and quality. It is a story of passion, experience, and craftsmanship that continues to set Massa Gioconda apart worldwide, as a symbol of excellence and an expression of “Made in Italy.”
